Hello World!
At last, I've finally got down to wrting my journal. I've never kept a diary or anything like that so I thought it's about time and the idea of being able to share my thoughts with everyone else on the net is so fascinating. What better time to start this then now! My exams got over last week and it's been about 6 days into my holidays.
It's the festive season now in India, all the religious festivals take place around this time. I used to love the festive atmosphere all around, for the past few years though they've meant lesser and lesser to me. I think they're great when you're a kid, you can hardly enjoy any of it now! I'm still relieved that my exams are over!! And the month n half long break from now is well deserved and it's about time!!
I and my brother Bobby talked to Diana Hayden, Miss World 1997 on the phone yesterday. We've got some very interesting projects to work on at the moment. They're all very big, Diana visited Uri's house a few weeks ago and he gave her our number and she called us! She does need a website but she's already got her cousin working on it, but we'll work out something with the guy. Whats really cool is that Diana is coming to Bombay next week and we'll get to meet her in person then! I can't wait!
Something really pathetic happened in India couple of days ago, a 1 year old tigress was killed inside a zoo when poachers broke in strangled the tigress, cut her veins and bled her to death...all while her mother was watching from the cage next to her. I'm shocked, really shocked. The other tigers are in a state of shock and they refuse to eat anything and they might die of hunger!! What a tragedy! I like tgers so much and I decided to help the cause of save the tigers by building a website for them to help raise money for the animals, once I was over with college, some months back. The more I hear horror stories such as these , the more I'm determined to do this project. Wish me luck!
