Strangers on the beach, issues on telly..What a sunday :)

Another Sunday gone. Today I went to play cricket at the beach. I didn't want to go yesterday but I hate saying no to people. It makes me feel like the villain. My mates kept calling me and insisted that I come and my constant syaing no was making me feel awful so I decided to go for the sake of the other guys, being the nice guy that I am :)

Well, the cricket at the beach was horrible. The beach was soft and too sandy for cricket. I could hardly bowl, it was awful. I was sitiing on the steps of the bungalow on the beach there and I was talking with the kid who lives there. He's a nice kid, only 11 years old but somehow I can talk many more things with him than with my other 19 year old dimwit friends. Anyways, so we were sitting there, waiting for the awful cricket match to come to an end and while we were there this American guy and his sister come up to us and start talking and asking us questions about what the Theosophical society was etc etc and so we got started talking with them. The guy's name was Jessie and his sister's name was Heather. They were really nice to talk to. We talked about so many things, from Indian beaches to the American presidency and the internet. It's funny how you can make friends when you least of all expect it. I mean, they'll go home and remember the smart ass kid they met on the beach in Bombay!! LOL..weird..that kid is me ..hehe. We promised to keep in touch. We'll see.

What did I do the rest of the day? Nothing much, came back home from the beach all tired and dirty. Had a shower, then i had lunch, watched some t.v..lots of T.V!!!! I and Bobby watched this Aussie show called "Heart Break High" and and English one..don't remember the name. It was major synchronicity that both of the show's today dealt with identical problems..racism. The English one showed how a school teacher punished a poor black kid for using the word "Queer" by calling him a "Nigger" He said that Queers and Niggers are both minority so it's not good for one minority to say bad things to another. The teacher immediately got branded Racist and he had to deal with the trouble. The Bastard! It's sad how racism still exists, even in developed countries such as Britain. There's a major divide between the races and I don't think harmonius living is just around the corner yet. Developed..yeah right!

Nothing else happened. I'm going to college tomorrow. My first appearance in 2001! What am I so excited about? Idiot!
