Oooohh...The man Jogs!
It's Friday night 10.30 as I write this. I'm printing out a bunch of e-mails to send out. My throat still hurts! I think the walk and jog on the beach yesterday made things worse. BTW I started jogging on th beach. Well just one day so far. i hope to go on alternate days. We go for regular walks these days and the most amazing thing happened today. I checked my weight on the weighing scale and I've lost 5 kios!!! Yep I weighh 65Kgs now! I thinkthe abstinence from fried foods and coke etc has helped. It's hard to tell from where I lost the weight cos my waist still measures the same ;( Thats where i'm really looking for results. Maybe in another weeks time??
We went for the walk today also, we took a different route this time. I suddenly have this urge to get myself a new walkman! Yep, all these years I saw mmy friends with their little walkman and I never felt like I neede one! All of a sudden I feel like thats what I really need, funny isn't it? I think it's because of these wonderful songs we've discovered of late, songs from the 80's new songs..all kinds of songs and we can't always play them on the PC because the PC is in the living room and there's always someone watching TV and they get all bugged and arrgghh! So we go out looking for a small petite sleek walkman for me. Guess what? Didn't find any! I mean there were a few but they cost a fortune! I need a cheap, small walkman because I might not feel like using it in 6-8 months time! Tshops are full of Mp3 players and DVD players but no real good walkmans around! India isn't exactly a electronics hotspot of the world either and the range very much sucked. I wish I was in Dubai or somewhere abroad with a shop with like 100's of walkmans to choose from and I'd choose the smallest one!! lol. I told Bobby after we came from the walk..we don't need money to get a good walkman..we need auncle in Dubai!!!
Gosh that paragraph was soo huge! I must really want that walkman! Wish me luck people! Not much else happened today. Watched lots of T.V, saw my friends playing cricket downstairs in the evening,as much as I was tempted to go down and join them I didn't. Just didn't feel like it ;(
You know, it just feels so great to know that there are people out there who will actually read this! I started out writing this for myself but I have a feeling I'm narrating my daily incidents to an audience! Which is great! Makes me feel like a person with a regular columnin a newspaper with a million people reading what I have to say!
Which reminds me...My good friend Isabelle Lenormand from La Rochelle, France asked me to say hi to her in my journal so here goes : "HI ISA!! THANKS FOR BEING A GOOD FRIEND!!!WISH YOU ALL THE BEST"
I saw an interview of a very famous cricket commentator on tv the other day and I've been inspired by the chap! I really want to have a career in media and anything media related! I actually fancy myself as a newsreader, ehehehe. More about that later.
Thats it. I'm outta here. Ciao! ;)
