HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEE!

It's finally here! It''ll be my birthday in little over an hour and a half. The teen years are over. I'll be 20 tomorrow. It's amazing how 20 seemed like "oh so old" until a couple of years ago too!! It's funny, I remember my 10th birthday, exactly 10 years ago. It was just a month and half after we arrived in India for good and I remember going with my dad on the morning of the 17th to get a cake at the Cake shop. Birthdays meant so much as a kid. I guess I'm a little luckier than most other kids here because I've had great birthday parties as a young child, many here never have had parties at all! I remember that my 9th birthday party was cancelled in Saudi Arabia because my grandmother had just died and my dad neede to go back home. It was such an awful feeling, to be told that you're not gonna have a party like a week before your birthday!!! That would've been the last celebrated birthday in Saudi Arabia.

10 years!! Gosh..that is a lot of years. But funnily 10 years doesn't seem like ALL that much now, it used to a few years ago! How things change, how attitudes and opinions change!! It's my birthday tomorrow but I've stopped getting all excited and hyper on my birthday since the past few birthdays. It's just another day, your friends suck up to you and be real nice and you can just see through them and you have to smile all day yoursef too ;). We're goint to a Pizza place called "Smokin Joe's" for my birthday treat tomorrow! Cheers!

The "International Fleet Review" is going to be held in bombay tomorrow and the day after. Naval ships from across the world are here to show their stuff. I don't think I'll go to see them, I'll watch it on the telly :)
