Mobile Phones, Stuffed Parathas and the ME Conflict
Well, it's tuesday already, just a couple of more days to Diwali. The actions on in full swing here, the roads are packed with cars, the shops are full, everyone is SHOPPING!! It's funny but it wasn't like this last year, or even the year before that! I reckon that people made good money over the past year and hence the mad spending! Too bad we don't shop around too much ;((
Over in the middle east, it's not so festive there at the moment! I think the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has the potential to really grow into something huge..like WWIII...ladies and gentlemen..it's just around the corner! God Forbid! The world is full of problem..we have our Kashmir problem here but that doesn't measure up to anything like the middle east conflict!
Okay, so this Sunday, Nishit my friend comes over to my place as he does every weekend and we hang around and shop for Mobile phones, he needs a couple..one for himself and one for his dad. We go to many shops and fins some really good cheap models but the guy wants this ridiculously expensive Nokia model, I think he's gonna get it too! Anywyay,..looking at all those phones makes me want to get one myself!! Maybe we will someday..for the time being though, we don't have anyone to call or be called by so no mobile!!! We then went for our usual sunday dinner, we had Stuffed Parathas at Juhu Beach. For those who don't know what a paratha is..it's a type of Indian bread and it's stuffed with like cheese and cottage cheese and vegetables and stuff like that! Yummy!
Played a bit of cricket yesterday...my whole body hurts! Ouch!...Guess that'll be it for now....
