Christmas...hic...Christmas time
One thing's for sure.....atleast one person other than myself has gone through the journal! I don't know whether I should be elated or downright disgusted! I think I have to learn to keep some of what's going on in my life..to myself!
Today is Uri geller's birthday..HAPPY BIRTHDAY URI!!!! We spoke to him on the phone yesterday and wished him ;)) It's funny how one whole year has passed, I remember wishing Uri happy birthday last year, and that seemed like just a few months ago! Time sure does fly. It was like just yesterday when my dad called me in England and told me that I passed the year and before you know it..it's bloody December and just about 3 months to study for what probably is the most important exam in my life!! It's hard to keep a track of what's happened in the past 6 months, things just flew by and I suppose time flies even faster when you're busy. Last year this time I and Bobby were still ecstatic about working with Uri and we had some real cool projects on our hands and we couldn't help but feel there was something good coming around the corner. We wanted to go to England, but with not much dough the situation seemed grim but you ought to have seen our optimism! We wanted to go..and go we did..we proved to ourselves that where there's a will..there's surely a way!
Well, after lots of bullshit in the news we finally had some good news, the postal strike got over a couple of days ago!!! I can look forward to postcards in the mail now..sadly we got two lousy trash letters in the mail which we threw out today..what a dissapointment :(( I have been literally flooded with requests for postcards from India and I have to get down to decide whom to send the postcards and whom to later. I think the 2nd week of January seems like a good date to mail out stuff by then hopefully all the clogging will clear up! I can't wait to put up the postcards page!!
It's
funny how some movies have so much hype because it has big stars in it but when
you see the movie it's really nothing better than an average sunday afternoon
flick. I watched Notting Hill the other day, guess people will find the movie..romantic
and blah blah blah..but somehow the movie just didn't make much sense to me.
It seemed un-realistic..what are the chances of America's top heroine...someone
who get's 15 million bucks per movie falling for a geeky, pathetic brit who
works at a bookstore in London?? And why does she keep coming back to London???
Hey..I never see that many hollywood movies filmed in blighty!
And the movie wasn't very funny either, romantic-comedies such as my best friends
wedding was an absolute blast..but this one..not quite..
Geez..what am I going on about here..I got a life to lead...Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all of you!!! hic..
